CITI Project @ The Art Institute of Chicago

My career began at The Art Institute of Chicago where I was an integral member of the first comprehensive physical inventory team. This project included the design and development of the museum's first database of collections information. I managed the conversion of the index card file representing approximately 150,000 works of art into electronic format, helped develop the application architecture and user interface, and led the implementation of the inventory process. I worked directly with technical teams on and off-site to ensure a successful transition from analogue to digital media, served as the curatorial liaison to implement new software tools, and created end-user and systems documentation.
