Designing Arts Ready

ArtsReady is a web-based readiness platform that provides performing arts organizations with customized business continuity plans for use following a crisis. It was developed by performing arts presenters, producers, and supporters as an online tool that guides administrators through the process of thinking about and documenting organizational needs around core critical functions (assets, resources, activities, finances) in order to find ways to safeguard them and to formulate solutions that can be acted on in the event of an emergency.

I was engaged to create and facilitate the community design workshops that defined use-cases and user stories and documented the user interface, process workflows, and support components. SouthArts led the project with colleagues from the UC Ready team at the University of California, Berkeley.
